In this lesson, we introduce kanji related to places, people, and everyday school life.
61. 学 (Study / Learn)
- On'yomi: がく
- Kun'yomi: まなぶ
- Meaning: Study / Learn
- Example: 日本語を学びます。 (I study Japanese.)
62. 校 (School)
- On'yomi: こう
- Kun'yomi: —
- Meaning: School
- Example: 学校へ行きます。 (I go to school.)
63. 生 (Life / Birth / Student)
- On'yomi: せい・しょう
- Kun'yomi: いきる・うまれる・なま
- Meaning: Life / Student
- Example: 小学生です。 (I am an elementary school student.)
64. 先 (Ahead / Before)
- On'yomi: せん
- Kun'yomi: さき
- Meaning: Ahead / Before
- Example: 先生が来ました。 (The teacher came.)
65. 名 (Name)
- On'yomi: めい・みょう
- Kun'yomi: な
- Meaning: Name
- Example: 名前を書いてください。 (Please write your name.)

- On'yomi: じ

- Meaning: Character / Letter
