Welcome to Part 6 of our kanji series!
In this lesson, we’ll explore 10 more basic kanji that help describe people, time, actions, and common objects.

51. 万 (Ten thousand)

• On'yomi: まん
• Kun'yomi: —
• Meaning: Ten thousand
• Example: 一万円です。 (It’s 10,000 yen.)

52. 円 (Yen / Circle)

• On'yomi: えん
• Kun'yomi: まる
• Meaning: Yen / Circle
• Example: 百円です。 (It’s 100 yen.)

53. 手 (Hand)

• On'yomi: しゅ
• Kun'yomi: て・た
• Meaning: Hand
• Example: 手をあげます。 (I raise my hand.)

54. 足 (Foot / Leg)

• On'yomi: そく
• Kun'yomi: あし・た
• Meaning: Foot / Leg
